Customizing and Managing Contact Fields in Twozo


Twozo allows businesses to customize and manage contact fields, allowing them to effectively capture and organize essential data, ensure all relevant details are recorded, and improve communication and relationship management with contacts.

What are contact fields?

Contact fields are data entry points that store information about each contact in your database, which helps you organize and manage contact details effectively.

















The list of default fields is as follows:

Field Name

Description

First Name*

The contact's first name.

Last Name

The contact's last name.

Emails*

The contact's primary email address.

Phones*

The contact's primary phone number.

Company

The name of the contact's associated company.

Designation

The job title or role of the contact within their company

Sales owner*

The user who created or is managing the contact.

Facebook

The URL of the contact's Facebook profile.

LinkedIn

The URL of the contact's LinkedIn profile.

Note: An asterisk (*) next to the field indicates that it is mandatory.


What are the steps to customize contact fields in Twozo?

In Twozo, custom fields capture extra contact details like age or alternate addresses. These can be filled manually through contact add forms or during data import. This feature keeps all contact information organized and tailored to your business needs.

Follow the below steps to customize the fields,

  1. Login to your account as an administrator.
    1. Navigate to Settings and select Contact under the Modules & Fields option.  










       
    1. Click on + Custom Field and specify the field name and type. 
    2. Check Add View to display the field on the contact creation form, and check Required to make it mandatory for users to fill in.
    3. Click Add to create the custom field.




    NotesNote: At least one field, email or phone, must be marked as required.


    How to add multiple email addresses and phone numbers to a Contact?

    Adding multiple email addresses and phone numbers to a contact is essential for maintaining comprehensive and accessible communication details. It ensures that you can reach the person through various channels and keep their information organized.

    1. Select an existing contact or create a new one.
    2. Find the Emails section and click +Add to enter additional email addresses.
    3. Locate the Phones section and click +Add to enter additional phone numbers.


    1. Assign appropriate labels like Work, Home, etc. to each email and phone number.
    2. Click Save to update the changes.


    Notes

     Note: 1. You can add up to 10 phone numbers and email addresses for each contact.

    2. The first phone number and email address added will be marked as the primary contact and email address.
